Call me Tree...

What is a Treefox?

Like almost everything else, my name has a story behind it. But for now, it's enough to know that gray foxes, or tree foxes as they are called in America, are the only species of dog that can climb trees, which makes them pretty cool. Otherwise, they are not domesticated, they are wild, and sometimes cute.

Trees as a motif for philosophy, greenery, computer science, and enduring life, combined with the cunning, wildness, and agility of a fox, are the reason why I gave myself the name Treefox, or Tree for short.

For me, puppy play has always been a pleasant headspace and a friendly scene. At the same time, however, and this is perhaps due to my studies as a social scientist, it has also been a catalyst for various thoughts about the scene and what it means to be a puppy, gearhead, or fetishist.
